Two-Stage Hemming Process

Step 1 – Initial Bend

Position the sheet metal between the 30° upper punch and the lower V-die.

Apply controlled pressure to create the initial acute-angle bend.

Step 2 – Final Hemming

Reposition the pre-bent sheet metal into the hemming section of the lower die.

Apply controlled pressure to flatten the folded edge and create a clean, finished hem.
